Overall, it was a good night for Blue

You may have already heard about the big news last night – blue defeating red. That’s right, UB defeated Miami of Ohio, 37-17, to move one step closer to a bowl game. It was a great win for the program, seen nationally on ESPN2, even if it may have been overshadowed by some other blue-red election thingy.

James Starks looked good, Drew Willy showed off his rocket arm, and the defense looked good enough. Most striking was the calm, steady presence of Turner Gill. The guy is a superstar coach in the making.
